Welcome to CityBites. By accessing or using our mobile and web applications (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

CityBites provides a premium lunch subscription platform connecting users to partner restaurants in select European cities. Subscriptions provide a set number of meal credits per billing cycle, which can be redeemed for physical pickup at partner restaurants during defined pickup windows.

2. Subscription and Billing

• Billing Cycles: Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis.
• Meal Credits: Meal credits must be used within the current billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through the app settings. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds: Payments are non-refundable except as required by law or specified in active refund conditions.

3. Restaurant Booking Rules

• Booking Window: Users can book tomorrow's lunch deals daily after 16:05.
• Check-in and Pick-up: To claim your meal, you must arrive at the restaurant during the scheduled pickup window and check in by scanning the restaurant's QR code.
• No-Shows: If you book a meal and do not pick it up, the meal credit is consumed and cannot be refunded.

4. User Accounts and Verification

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our usage terms or engage in fraudulent check-ins.

5. Limitation of Liability

CityBites acts as a platform connecting you to partner restaurants. We do not prepare the food and are not responsible for the quality, allergen statements, or preparation of the meals provided by partner restaurants.

6. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page or through app notifications. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
